What's this survey about? We are writing to ask for your participation in a survey about smoking-related behaviors and attitudes. This study is being conducted by the RAND Corporation, a private, non-profit research organization in collaboration with Harris Interactive and is funded by the National Institutes of Health. The overall purpose of this study is to develop an item bank to promote standardized measurements of smoking behaviors and attitudes among U.S. adult smokers with the goal of making assessments readily available to researchers who may want to study smoking more systematically, understand the relationship between smoking and other health domains, and identify pathways to help smokers reduce their smoking levels or quit completely.
