Send me a dollar, give me a buck, donate a dollar and help me retire...

Hard working single father of two kids, asking for the same thing you might give to the panhandler on the street corner.    Top reasons to send me a dollar 

• I'm almost 40.. and don't have a decent 401K!
• You're going to die soon...? and have no one to leave it too!
• You have $100,001 dollars in the bank and that last dollar is not FDIC insured!
• You are you about to go through the big D and want to have less for your EX to get half of!
• Some of the people on the street corner are not really homeless and I am being honest.

  If you don't want to send me a dollar you can make it up to me by:

• Adding me to your will
• Sending me a Mega Million or Powerball ticket instead
• Sending me something exponentially more valuable like gold, silver, comics, celebrity autographs, gift cards, lotion candles or any gift a single hard working dad (or his kids) might use.

Not convinced to give me your money yet? Have a look at these arguments in support of it:

• Because you didn't think of it first... ha ha (don't worry it is probably a waste of time anyway.
• Excess money can lead to self-destructive habits like drinking and drug abuse and I do not want to see that happen to you.
• Pay a dollar to bring new traffic to your site by advertising your own website in a comment below (or maybe even in the text of an upcoming post, at the very least in a blog listing all the donors). 
• You lose more than a dollar in the sofa when you sit down.
• You'd probably just waste it on something you don't really need anyway. I bet you still have that Flowbee in storage.
• Heavy wallets are bad for your back, I would be saving you from spending it at the chiropractor.
• Money is the root of all evil, why not let me help you stay Angelic. It don't grow on trees because it's a root vegetable.
• Good Karma - Giving is good for your soul!  Think of all the Bad things you've done in your life. Un less you havn't then you'd just be keeping up the good work.
• Because you like the idea and are amused, Maybe one of my reasons is a dollar worth of humorous.
• You're already making thousands of millionaires richer every day evry time you buy something, help make one from scratch (me).
• I'm not exactly broke, but I'm sure not going to be able to retire on my 401K (probably no Social Security by then either) and that makes you sad.
• It's only a buck! Costs less than a Starbucks coffee.
• You just want to do something nice for someone and hey look at that I am someone.

Based on my wage, my mortgage, 2 kids and being single and assuming things continue this way and I was going to retire now rather than at 67 I need about $842,400:

That's approx .0027% of the US population that needs to send me $1 (one dollar)
or
84240 people that need to send me $10, that is less than 1 in 10 people in Wyoming
or
8424 people to send me a $100, It's all about the Benjamins

I'm asking for every person who visits this 'send me a dollar' website to send me one dollar. How much can you really get for a dollar these days. Just one insignificant dollar, you won't even miss it. Then I add those dollar bills to everyone else's and they make a difference. 

They don't even have to be US dollars.
