Now that Kamala Harris is the official nominee and getting the full honeymoon treatment from the Mainstream Media, many are questioning whether Trump can still win a second term as President.
But what if Trump does win?
Does it mean we're out of the woods?
Not necessarily.
For starters, we've got $35 trillion in national debt and growing by the second. In fact, it cost us 76% of June's total tax receipts just to pay the interest on that debt.
On top of that, the Fed is set to cut rates twice this year, with their first move said to be in September - right before the election.
This would likely lead to a short term jump in price of equities (potentially helping the Harris election bid), but it would also lend itself to a bullish scenario for gold and silver as it would be seen as an inflationary move.
