| When I set up my gmail account on my new applemac it transferred every message ever sent or received from my gmail account. (I thought the messages trashed in 2007 were GONE.) I am having difficulty setting up the rest of the information.

| I understand that the rollout of TrueSwitch to all users is proceeding. Apparently, our two gmail accounts (jdgorud and jkhowland) are in a late phase of deployment. We are keenly interested in using TrueSwitch to make our transition to gmail complete. Can you provide any information about the target date for TrueSwitch to be available to all existing gmail users. Thank you!

| ok, wow, finally i found somewhere to post something to google. I know its not really a question, but i couldn't find anywhere else, anyway, i just wanted to suggest something for gmail. It would be really nice and convenient if gmail had a little thing that you can type a note to yourself instead of having to email yourself everytime you want to keep some information or whatever. so yeah, you guys should totally put a function like that in gmail, where you can check it at any computer and not just the one you keep at home.

| I have 2 igoogle accounts geat.leadership@gmail.com as you can see I spelled it wrong as I am a id. Then I have franchiseleadershipcenter@gmail.com. I have hooked up all my cool stuff with geat,leadership@gmail.com like my news, rrs reader, docs and much more. All I want to do is transfer all that stuff to my new account franchiseleadershipcenter@gmail.com.
Is there a way to do this that is not overly complicated. I am not the sharpest knife in the draw as you can tell by my spelling mistake.

| I am new to gmail and have never added a picture to my settings yet i am told that my picture displays as a young blonde girl. I am not blonde or a girl. Is this some sort of default photo? I have since added my own picture yet the picture of this girl is still what renders. Any thoughts or ideas on this? Thanks.

| When I use the "Set your own colors" theme, I can't set the color of my message text and body. Bug?

| I used the themes to try and select a theme I liked. It turned out that I liked none of them, perfectly. No problem, I thought, I'll set my own colors.
But setting my own colors didn't work - as soon as I opened a mesaage the old colors were there. I verified that this still happened when I was looking at a message that was text/plain so it could not have been that the colors were set by the sender.
Many themes are able to set the colors of the message body - at least one sets them to the same color as the text. I believe that "set your own colors" claims to allow you to set message colors (It is hard to tell EXACTLY what I'm setting colors for).
But I can't set my own colors and set message colors - the messages themselves come up in the original blue/white while the message listings (inbox) use my new set colors..

| I've set my account to show 100 messages per page, but that setting isn't used in search results. Is there a way to specify how many messages are displayed in a single page when I run a search? I'm trying to check some back messages and only seeing 20 messages in a page is a real pain when I'm trying to see all messages that fit my criteria going back over a few months, as I'm needing to do at thie time.

| gmail initially couldnt verify user name/password...i thought someone compromised my account. they redirected me to the security part of their site and i didnt answer the sec questions correctly. Now they have sent me an email (to my yahoo account) stating they can not give me back my account because they cant verify i am actually the one using it. I also have been locked out of facebook so i think i accidentally ran a program that did something to affect the passwords on my accounts. Up to now I have no way to get into gmail....and no one to call. Any ideas???

| Recently my account was hijacked by a spammer I have a business domain with google apps, and now the display name shows Mrs. Riza Perla a spammer in my send as and my gmail chat. I have been able to get everything looking good again except for this part. I would really like to keep this account without having to redo everything. Does anybody have contact information for google so I can send them a request on changing this, or would anyone know how to fix this.

| I write these suggestions very carefully. Hope you can read and consider seriously. Thank you very much! 1. The label function of Gmail is very impressive. It helps people to read emails under particular labels. However, could you put one label - "no label emails" in the label group, so that people can read emails without any labels conveniently? 2. Gmail automatically groups the emails with same subject into one email. However, sometimes, emails with same subject do not belong to the same group in the actual situation. In this case, this auto-grouping function may cause inconvenience to users. It is better to allow users to decide if these emails should be put into one group. 3. If users can sort the email with certain index, it is much better. 4. Maximum email number displayed in one page is 100. It could be larger.

| Dear fellows I think is should be possible to have more than one Gmail signature for multi-language mailing; and will further propose that you as a general setting may choose, where the autosignature i inserted in the mail, when answering or forwarding an email. I am sure al lot of mailreaders does NOT see your signature if you have answered/forwarded a more than 70 linies long email. | None of the keyboard shortcuts are working that allow navigation, particularly in the "inbox" view. If I select a conversation, I can use shortcuts to open, or archive, or whatever, but then I have to select the next conversation again manually. For example, "]" correctly archives the selected conversation, but doesn't move to the next conversation - I have to select it with the mouse. If I use "]" with an open conversation, it archives it but dumps me out to the inbox, and I again have to manually select the next conversation.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.3 for Mac.

| I really need help with this, I think I may have "logged" in to a fake gmail and given away my password, it's the only thing I can think of. I was logged out of gmail and then brought to the "login screen" or something that looked exactly like it, and then my username was blanked out (I couldn't change it, but it said "ljfhutchinson" which is my email address), my password wasn't so (without thinking) I "logged in" and then was told my password was wrong. I closed internet explorer and then opened it back up again, gmail was normal again but my password didn't work. My account has quite a bit of information about me which if it were to fall into the wrong hands could be potentially damaging. If anyone could help me either get it back, or even just suspend it. I'm past caring about it anymore, I just don't want hackers to have my information.
